Faenza site
Faenza site
Torricelli Science and Technology Park
The Faenza site of the Ravenna Technopole is a national reference point for the study and development of advanced materials: ceramic, composite, inorganic, hybrid, polymeric, massive, porous, laminar, multifunctional and nanostructured materials. These activities bring together expertise in technologies, processes and material‑characterisation techniques, with the aim of driving innovation and supporting the industrialisation of materials in accordance with eco‑design principles and the circular economy.
The laboratories are also closely linked with numerous companies in the area, fostering a constant dialogue between research and industrial applications.
At the end of 2022, the C‑HUB was created as a coordination platform linking institutions, businesses and research laboratories. Its purpose is to promote skills and professional expertise in the field of innovative, composite and ceramic materials, both nationally and internationally. The C‑HUB’s secretariat and coordination activities are managed by CIFLA, within the broader development and engagement initiatives of the Technopole.
